What Lonely Planet, Rough Guide and others say about Karma Kayak

Poolside Karma Kayak Gili Trawangan ReviewsTOP CHOICE in Lonely Planet Bali & Lombok 2011

Simplicity is the key here at this wonderful back to nature retreat where evrything seems in harmony with the tranquil location.
All the fine rooms adopt a less is more uncluttered design, with soothing natural colors, large windows and generous balconies or verandas.
The beach side cafe is first-class.

Terrific tapas, sandwiches and salads served up on a blissfully tranquil beach location.
Wash it all down with a jug of Sangria or a bottle of chilled wine. It’s magical at sunset here, with the volcanoes of Bali filling the horizon.

OUR PICK in Lonely Planet Indonesia 2010

A beautiful bungalow property on the tranquil north end
The beach absolutely gorgeous, especially at sunset
Tasty Spanish tapas (including house cured olives, exquisite garlic prawns and delicious meatballs) are served on the beach. It’s a popular spot for sunset

Illy coffee available hereRough Guide 2010

Run by two welcoming Dutch women, this place has attractive, individually styled bungalows with wi-fi and fresh water showers.

Right on the beach, under the trees in front of a good snorkeling area, this is a great place to chill out for a few hours and is the prime sunset viewing point from May till September.
There are beanbags, loungers and tables on the sand (plus free wi-fi) and good tapas on the menu – calamaris, vergetable tempura, patatas bravas, tapenada and baba ganoush among them (from 15.000 rp)
